Role - Behaviour Mentor
Location - Manchester
Do you have experience working with secondary age pupils and getting them back on task? Are you resilient and able to manage and overcome challenging behaviour? If so, this position could be the answer.
Career Teachers are working with a school in Manchester who are looking for a behaviour mentor to work with their pupils across KS3 & KS4. You will be working with small groups of individuals who have been removed from class and present challenging behaviour. The role will begin in September 2022 and will continue on a full-time basis through until July 2023
The role will suit someone who has previously worked as either a teaching assistant or cover supervisor and is used to managing effectively with behavioural issues. Key to the role is being able to quickly engage and build rapport with these individuals, getting them back on task and developing their skills and learning.
