Sociology Teacher required - January 2020 ***Sociology Teacher required - January 2020 ***Outstanding school located in North London ***AS and A-Level teaching ***Possible opportunity for permanent post Are you looking for a Sociology post at a top comprehensive school where the students are keen to learn and the staff really do enjoy teaching? Due to a teacher leaving leave this outstanding comprehensive with 74% A-C GCSE results is looking to appoint a replacement teacher from January 2020. The role will be offered as a temp to perm position. The timetable consists of AS and A Level teaching as well as a small portion of Key Stage. The standard of the sixth form is high so subject knowledge will be key. The students are keen to learn and work hard to achieve top results. The role has an aspect of flexibility to it as they and there is the potential for them to offer the position 4 days per week (0.8 timetable).

The school looks for teachers that can deliver excellent lessons and are able to encourage students to achieve the very top of their ability. Many of the students go on to higher education and as such have a focus on academic success. To be eligible to apply for this role you will need to have a recognised teaching qualification and a current DBS.
