** Art specialism This North London Secondary School has been recognised as an Outstanding School in their last two Ofsted inspections. The School has a superb leadership team that inspires both staff and students and will facilitate career progression for outstanding teachers. They are seeking to appoint an excellent primary or secondary trained teacher to support and promote the inclusive culture across the school enabling all students to achieve their best and overcome barriers to learning and participation. You will need to coordinate appropriate curricular and learning provision for students with special educational needs, learning and behavioural needs. The role will be focus on Art, however vocational learning and other subjects will be intermixed in the timetable. They are seeking applicants with a recognised teaching qualification, preferably within Art, however not essential. If you are able to demonstrate previous success working with students of low engagement and challenging behaviour that is extremely advantageous. The successful applicant will need to have: * Qualified teacher status with special educational needs experience in a behaviour setting such as PRU * Experience of working as an exceptional classroom teacher. * The capability to collaborate with a wide range of professionals and parents. * Excellent communication skills with adults and pupils. * The ability to write and deliver programmes of study for an alternative curriculum within the inclusive setting. * A genuine interest and understanding of raising attainment of students with low numeracy and literacy skills The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
