** Fantastic Grade 1 Ofsted, 80% A* - C school ** Superb opportunity to teach French at Key Stage 3 & 4 ** Opportunity to work alongside established HOD ** Stable, reliable and well resourced department ** 2 term position - possible perm role in September ** Great opportunity for NQT or experienced teacher This fantastic School based in South West London, in Wandsworth are currently looking for a well qualified teacher of Languages who is able to offer French at Key Stage 3 & 4 to join their already flourishing MFL department. Due to a member of staff leaving for promotion an opportunity has arisen to take on a role in this strong and successful department. It is essential, to be considered for the role, that you are able to speak French to a competent level, enabling you to confidently teach at Key Stage 3 & 4. You will be a capable and inspirational individual, able to easily demonstrate your ability to lead students and have clear and decisive visions as how your contribution will help the department deliver the curriculum successfully to the students, optimising their learning potential. You will have strong interpersonal skills and easily be able to develop rapport with staff, students and parents. The school achieves fantastic results at both GCSE and A Level and the focus of this role is on academic progress and attainment rather than behaviour management. The appreciation of techniques that would be used to handle challenging students is always desirable. The school caters for both boys and girls. In order to be eligible for this position you must hold a recognised teaching qualification (to include NQTs) and also have recent relevant teaching experience. In addition you must hold or be willing to have a DBS check completed prior to starting the job.
