Position: Supply Teacher

Location: Manchester

Pay: £100 - £150 per day

Career Teachers are looking for a number of supply teachers to work at secondary schools and academies across the Manchester area on a day to day and short -term basis.

These positions are to cover absences within the departments, with all work already set. Your job is to deliver the pre-set work to the pupils and ensure that they are getting the required work completed. You could be delivering work in a variety of subjects each day at the school, depending upon the requirements of the day.

Key requirements:

  • PGCE qualification with QTS or equivalent
  • Good behaviour management
  • Passionate and enthusiastic
  • Engaging and able to build rapport
  • Able to deliver pre-set work to students in both KS3 & KS4
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Flexible on location and school within the Manchester area
  • Enhanced DBS certificate

Many of these bookings arrive with short notice, so you will need to be ready and able to get to the school for the start of the day. Own transport is desirable but not essential due to the excellent public transport network in place across Manchester.
