Role: SIMS Administrator

Location: Bury

Pay: £75 - £85 per day

Career Teachers are currently looking for an experienced School Administrator to work at a local secondary school within the Bury area.

The role is due to begin with immediate effect and will continue on a full-time, ongoing basis, 5 days per week to cover an absence. There may also be the option for this to be a part-time role, if that suits the candidate.

Ideally you will have worked as an administrator within a school previously in either a primary, secondary or special school and will be able to hit the ground running. You will also need to have previous experience using the SIMS system.

Key Requirements

  • Updating SIMS system daily
  • Following up and monitoring pupil absence
  • Inbound and outbound calls
  • Data entry onto SIMS
  • Providing safety information
  • Liaising with teachers and various third parties
  • Filing paperwork
  • Updating pupils records
  • Monitoring and ordering of school meals
  • Sending letters to parents
