Career Teachers are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced teacher of Science for a local secondary academy in the Rochdale area.

The role will involve teaching general Science at both KS3 & KS4 and previous experience teaching at both levels is a requirement. The position is due to begin as soon as possible and will continue on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

If you are passionate about teaching Science and can engage with secondary age pupils, this could be the role for you!

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to teach general Science up to and including KS4
  • A genuine passion for the subject
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and easily
  • Ability to differentiate work
  • PGCE in Science with QTS or equivalent
  • An enhanced DBS certificate
