Level 3 Teaching Assistant - SEN

Career Teachers are seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants to work in a Special School based in Nottingham. The right candidate will be a knowledgeable, engaging individual who has the skills to motivate and support SEN students. This school caters for children and young people aged 4-19 years old.

If you are looking to make a difference to children's lives and have a genuine interest working with Special Educational Needs then this is the role for you.

Your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. You will work alongside the class teacher to deliver creative and engaging lessons for pupils to ensure they manage their behaviours and achieve the best possible outcomes for their learning. You will be inspiring and aim to deliver the highest level of education to pupils in the school ensuring they have the best life chances.

Requirements of the role:

• Current DBS on the update service or able to apply for one through Career Teachers
• Level 3 qualification or equivalent
• Genuine interest working with Special Educational Needs
• Experience within a classroom
• Be patient, flexible and calm in your approach
