Career Teachers are seeking an English Teacher to work 5 days per week at a Secondary School in Derby. This role has full time and part time days included in the working week. The days/ hours are as follows:

  • Monday 0830 - 1230
  • Tuesday All day
  • Wednesday 0830-1230
  • Thursday 0830 - 1300
  • Friday 1400-1600

Your role as an English Teacher is to plan, mark and deliver lessons that meet the current curriculum. You will teach classes of up to 30 children per lesson fitted to a timetable that meet the above hours/times. You will be educating children and young people with a mixed ability of knowledge. Your aim is to develop and educate the pupils to achieve high standards/grades.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Have a DBS on the update service or able to apply for one through Career Teachers
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience teaching English to the current curriculum
  • Have experience working in schools in the UK
  • Be able to meet targets set out
  • Be available immediately
