Working Monday to Thursday 8.15 am- 4.15 pm, Friday 8:15am - 3:00pm there are both full time and part time roles available. You will be working within a residential special school for young people aged from 5-19 with Special Educational Needs including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech & Language Disorders, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), communication needs, therapeutic needs (including speech and language and sensory processing needs), and associated challenging behaviour.
Due to the wide range of needs of the young people, you will be able to creative a positive learning environment. You will bring new ideas, activities and enthusiasm to the classroom. Working alongside other professionals to make the school a fantastic place to work, learn and thrive. Working 1:1 with a pupil or in small groups you will be responsible for ensuring all pupils you are working with have the best possible outcome for their learning.
