Career Teachers are seeking Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teachers. If you have a genuine interest working with children and young people with, SEND then we have the role for you. Working in a Special School that caters for pupils aged 5-19-year-olds. This role offers full time, part time and adhoc days to suit the right candidate.

You will be working with individuals who have a range of complex needs in education. Your role is to plan and deliver lessons which meets the needs on pupils through their EHCP. You will work alongside teaching and support staff to ensure you are assisting pupils to achieve the best possible outcomes for their learning. As a SEND Teacher you will be aware of and remain responsible for all safeguarding of pupils in your care.

Requirements of the role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience of working with students with SEND (mainstream or SEN Schools)
  • To be patient and understanding
  • Be flexible in your approach
  • DBS on the update service or able to apply for one through Career Teachers
