Career Teachers are recruiting for full time Higher Level Teaching Assistants starting in September 2023!

Working 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 08:30 till 16:00pm

Pay £76-£90 per day depending on experience.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will be working with children and young people aged 5-19. The school is an Alternative Provision that is based within Ilkeston. You are required to have a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle as part of your role does include picking up and dropping of pupils to and from their home address. This helps to build positive relationships with the students in your care. The position requires you to plan and deliver creative and innovative learning for pupils either 1:1 or in small groups. You will support the class teacher and other professionals to ensure each learner has the best possible outcomes.

Requirements:

• Be Level 4 Qualified HLTA or equivalent
• Have a Enhanced DBS on the update service or able to apply for one through Career Teachers
• Have a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own transport
• Have a minimum 6 months experience working within a classroom
• Be experienced and have a genuine interest working with Special Educational Needs
