Class Teacher - Special Educational Needs

Career Teachers are seeking experienced Class Teachers for a Special Educational Needs school based in Derby. Your role as a Teacher is to plan, prepare, assess and report the current curriculum lessons you deliver to pupils. The children and young people you will educate have a range of learning and social needs that you need to meet for them to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Your duties may include, but not be limited to:

• Promoting and upholding the schools policies and procedures
• Setting clear tasks that meet all pupils needs for learning
• Build strong positive relationships with colleagues and other professionals
• Provide a stimulating environment full of resources for pupils
• Report pupil progress to parents, carers and staff
• Work in partnership with support staff to ensure they are aware of the lesson delivery

To be considered for this role you must have qualified teacher status and experience working within a special school or within a mainstream school. You will be creative with the delivery of your lessons and be patient in your approach.
