An enthusiastic and caring person is needed to join the team of a friendly, 3 form entry Primary School with Nursery. The right candidate will be someone who works well with both adults and children, who is firm but kind, has a good sense of humour and who is an effective team worker.
You will work closely with the Special Needs Co-ordinator and outside agencies (e.g. Speech & Language and Educational Psychology department).
The role is to support a pupil with additional needs. Previous experience of working with children with special educational needs is desirable, knowledge of ASD and a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential.
You will have a fixed term contract linked to a named pupil with an EHCP, dependent on the pupil remaining on roll at our school.
