Nursery Nurse for South London - Full and part time roles available
Career Teachers are currently recruiting a Nursery Nurse for a Primary school in the South East London area.
To apply for this role its essential that you hold a level 3 certificate. Your main role will be supporting the teacher and working in a early years setting. The school is looking for a Nursery Nurse that can work in two classes, Nursery and Reception. A clear understanding of the early years framework is essential. Your working hours will be Monday- Friday 8:30AM-4PM with a hour lunch break.
Main duties includes:
- Setting up the classroom
- Creating interactive play areas for the children
- Activities with the children- playing, singing and reading
- Reports and Assessment
- Meeting with parents
- Occasional personal care
- Supporting the teacher with planning
- Covering playground duties when required
This is a lovely two form entry school. They have a very welcoming environment. The school overall have been rated a good but their early years department was awarded with outstanding for their amazing facilities, great team and the work they have done to transition the children from early years to KS1. They also have a good supply of IT interactive whiteboards in each class. Training will be offered to candidates if required.
