SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary TA - South East London

Career Teachers are looking for an SEN TA to work in a school in the South East London area - Southwark. ABOUT THE ROLE You will be providing 1:1 support to a child with special educational needs. You will be working closely with a boy who has Autism, planning tailored activities for learning and play, so that he can succeed and grow within his studies.
You will be compassionate and patient at all times, and have an encouraging nature. You will have experience of working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, ideally with specific experience within Autism.
In addition, some experience with Phonics would be an advantage.
Due to the nature of the role, the school are looking for someone who can commit to the role on an ongoing basis, as changes can be unsettling. The role has potential to continue for the full academic year.
You will be starting in September 2021, on a full time basis. Salary will be dependent on experience, from £70 to £90 per day.
