Starting soon, this is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and energetic SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) to join the teaching faculty at a Pupil Referral Unit in Bournemouth. Providing you with the chance to work under the guidance of teaching staff, undertaking support programmes that enable access to learning for all pupils.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) you will be responsible for providing learning support to individuals and groups with additional needs while supporting teaching staff. You will be supporting pupils aged 11 to 16 years (Key Stage 3 and 4).
You will be working closely with class Teachers to plan the lesson and create innovative ways to ensure a supportive, creative learning environment where pupils can expand their knowledge and play a positive role in school life.
