We are currently working with a Special Needs school based in Paignton, Devon.
The school support predominately secondary aged children with SEMH and ASD.
They take a creative, individualised approach to learning, centred around well-being and skills for independence and they have a commitment and passionate belief that through building trust and rebuilding confidence, every young person can reach his or her full potential.
The aim of the school to help students to overcome their individual challenges and achieve personal and academic growth. From the time they arrive, we start thinking about where students will be moving to after they leave us to ensure they are well prepared to achieve their goals and succeed
At the School, they celebrate their unique curriculum approach, 'Percept Based Therapeutic Learning', an approach where students are provided the liberty to explore their own passions while learning the key skills for independence.
The overall intent of the curriculum at the School is help students find a sense of self-fulfilment by identifying that sweet spot where their natural talents meet their personal passions.
