Learning Support Assistant

Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Salford
Career Teachers are currently looking for an experienced teaching assistant to work on a full-time, ongoing basis at a secondary school based in Salford from September 2022.
The role will involve working as a learning support assistant within the classroom, supporting pupils on both a 1-1 basis and in small groups.
You will need to quickly and effectively engage and build rapport with this pupil. You will be supporting the students with their studies within a classroom setting predominantly.
This role is a challenging and rewarding position where you will be able to see the development of this student first hand.
Key requirements:
- Experience of working with pupils at KS3/KS4
- Calm and patient demeanour
- Ability to build rapport quickly
- Good behaviour management
