Role: DT - Food Technology Teacher

Location: South Lancashire

Career Teachers are looking for an experienced teacher of Food Technology to work at a local school in the South Lancashire area on a full-time, ongoing basis from September 2022.

The chosen candidate will need to be proficient at teaching DT - Food Technology at both KS3 & KS4 and have previous experience within a similar setting. There may also be the requirement to cover other aspects of the DT curriculum at KS3 from time to time.

Key Skills required:

  • Ability to teach DT - Food Technology to KS4
  • Happy to teach other areas of DT to KS3
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about the subject
  • Superb communication skills
  • Ability to engage and interact with pupils
  • Good behaviour management
  • PGCE/PGDE or equivalent
