Working as a Teacher of Functional Skills within an Alternative Learning Provision, you will be based in Mansfield. This position requires you to drive and have your own transport due to the need of collecting pupils from home and bringing them into the school. You will have experience teaching in a Special Educational Needs environment and deliver current curriculum through creative lessons.

You will use multi-sensory and holistic approaches to deliver English and Maths Functional Skills lessons. Your role will be to work either with small groups or on a 1:1 basis. To be considered for the role you must be able to promote and uphold the schools current policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Have experience teaching within an SEN (Special Educational Needs) setting
• Have a DBS on the update service or be able to apply for one through Career Teachers
• Be calm and patient in your approach
