Career Teachers are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Music Teacher for daily, short term or long term contracts in Leeds from September 2022. We work in partnership with several secondary schools in Leeds and surrounding LEA's.

We are looking for a Music Teacher who can deliver high quality teaching in the subject across KS3 and KS4. If completing a long term role, you will be expected to offer your full commitment with undertaking the duties that you might expect of a teacher such as planning and assessment. Occasionally this commitment will extend to attending parents evenings, CPD sessions, open days etc.
You will ideally possess Music based degree (or equivalent) and also hold a teaching qualification (PGCE) to teach the subject. You will have built up some relevant teaching experience within music teaching and be ruthlessly organised and able to manage the inevitable peaks and troughs of a varied and challenging workload. You will have great communication skills, which will be used to build rapport with your students and peers.
