Career Teachers are currently working with a number of schools in Leeds, who will be looking for staff for September 2022. As a result, we are looking for an English Teacher who is interested in supply work in September 2022 (or sooner). We are interested in speaking to those who are looking for both short and long term opportunities in Leeds and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate would need to have excellent subject knowledge and be confident teaching their subject at Key Stages 3 and 4. You will also possess strong behaviour management skills. If undertaking long term supply, whole class teaching responsibilities will be required - such as planning, marking, and attending CPD sessions.
You will need to have QTS in English with good recent experience of teaching in a UK Secondary School. You will have excellent subject knowledge for English and be able to teach it across Key stage 3 and 4. You will have developed your behaviour and classroom management skills in your previous placements, and be ready to apply what you have learnt and develop them further. We would need to be able to get a strong school reference from your current or most recent employer.
