A secondary school in Leeds require a Site Operative, to start with them ASAP covering a sickness. We don't know how long the sickness will be for, but need someone flexible who can start right away.

You will ideally be an experienced facilities professional who has worked within a secondary school environment. You will have key-holder responsibilities and will be expected to support the maintenance of the school property and grounds, which could include dealing with contractors. You will be tasked with day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs, and ensure that the grounds are kept secure at all times.

You will need previous experience of working in a similar position preferably within a school. You must have the ability to relate well to everyone, and good working knowledge of COSHH regulations. You will be an expert communicator, and possess a very hands on approach. You should be excellent at problem solving.

As someone is needed immediately for this position, we need someone who can start right away and hit the ground running. Due to the urgency of the request, you will need to be fully DBS checked with a DBS on the update service.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
