A secondary school in Leeds require a Site Manager / Caretaker, to start with them ASAP. The hours are flexible, but you can expect to work 37.5 hours a week - the school would prefer you to work between the hours of 10am till 6pm, but there is some leeway if you really need it.

You will be responsible for making sure the school is kept in good order on a day to day basis, and will be tasked with opening and closing the school, alongside carrying out any general maintenance duties in a timely manner and fully in line with School standards.

Other duties are likely to include:

- Carrying out basic DIY repairs- Ensuring security of the site- Ensuring Health & Safety is kept up to date- Testing of fire alarms- Ensuring site cleanliness is well maintained- Ensuring that heating and lighting systems are functioning correctly and on at the correct times.

You will need previous experience of working in a similar position preferably within a school. You must have the ability to relate well to children and adults, and possess a good working knowledge of COSHH regulations. Additionally, you will need to be articulate, confident and be able to communicate with others at all levels, with the ability to be hands on. You will also be a lateral thinker who views problem solving as second nature.
