Our school provides quality education for children within the school's local area, providing the foundations for pupils' development further up the school. TAs are vital to the overall learning and development of pupils at the school, tailoring their approach to optimise learning opportunities. About the Role - Behaviour TA

As a Teaching Assistant you will be supporting pupils who at times display challenging behaviours, cultivating a love of learning. This role is on a long term supply basis, with competitive salary per day, starting from £65, reflecting your own work experience and workload, and with the possibility of being made permanent in the future.

Person Specification - Behaviour Primary TA

The successful teaching assistant (TA) will:

  • Be enthusiastic with a willingness to get involved and be active in the classroom
  • Be happy to work with students on a 1:1 and full class basis
  • Have a nurturing personality and ability to develop relationships quickly
  • Have experience supporting individuals with challenging displays of behaviours
  • Must have completed a level 3 (or above) qualification in a related education field
  • Must have the right to work and live in the UK

We require references and an up to date DBS with update service. If you do not have one you will need to apply for a brand new DBS certificate.

We are not looking for the finished article and are able to offer a lot of support and CPD training to help develop your skills and qualifications.
