SEN Lecturer- Barking and Dagenham College - Long term vacancy
An innovative college that is delivering inspirational learning and excellence through career focused education to students aged 16-15 is looking for an SEN lecturer to join them in their campus based in Barking and Dagenham.
We are looking for an experienced lecturer who can support SEND classes in a mainstream environment. Classes are small which aid lecturers in progressing and developing student's progression and give them the opportunity to move on to mainstream classes.
The college has a range of curriculum leaders and specialists and are looking for someone to join their team and develop students' with learning difficulties and disabilities knowledge and skills for life by teaching them a variety of subjects
Applications are encouraged from Lecturers qualified with PTLLS, DTTLS, DET and QTLS whom have experience in this sector and who are more than willing to be pro-active and put their all into the role.
Interviews will take place virtually and applicants will be assessed as they apply.
- Degree qualified - relevant to work in college
- Teaching qualification
- Non-qualified lecturers - (PTLLS) - within 1 year of teaching
- Achieve DTLLS - within 5 years
- Teach and assess on one or more of the courses delivered or serviced
- Understand college policies including the equality of opportunity
- Undertake hours of work to complete tasks as required
- Be conversant of Health and Safety regulations
