Career Teachers are working with a school in the London Borough of Southwark who are looking for a highly motivated and well-organised ICT Technician and Communication Officer to promote the school.

This job role will include social media, communications with stakeholders, planning events, developing materials, publicity, advertising and market research. You will also be required to manage the IT day to day needs of the school. Ideally, you will already have experience of the requirements of the role, or a similar role, and work within a similar environment.

The successful candidate will: * Have good communication skills * Be able to work as part of a team, but also use initiative and self-direction when needed * Be calm and patient * Be flexible and adaptable * Have GCSE grade C (or higher) in maths and English (or equivalent) * Have a commitment to achieving high standards

Alongside this you will have good organisational and interpersonal skills and the personal characteristics required to be a good multi-channel communicator.
