We are looking to speak to inspiring Cover Supervisors who are looking to undertake day to day supply cover in the Leeds area from September 2021
We can offer a range of exciting opportunities from day-to-day cover to longer term cover. We also have opportunities available in SEN schools as well and will have plenty of work to keep you busy in September.
The role of a cover supervisor is an important one. The focus will be to supervise classes whilst the usual teacher is absent. You will be expected to try and maintaining good behaviour whilst keeping the students on task. You will be able to achieve this through managing student behaviour effectively using the School's Behaviour for Learning procedure as necessary.
This role would suit those wishing to utilise their teaching or tutoring experience in a classroom setting. It would also suit a graduate who is interested in exploring what the classroom has to offer before applying for a PGCE. This is a great opportunity to get paid experience working in a variety of different schools.
You must be a positive and outgoing individual with the ability to work well with others and autonomously. You will be motivational and engaging with plenty of flexibility and adaptability. You will naturally develop your ability to communicate with, engage and inspire pupils and be able to display your excellent verbal communication and organisational skills. Having a positive outlook is important as it will allow you to inspire positivity in your students as you aim to get the best out of them in every lesson you cover.
This is an excellent opportunity to support fantastic Secondary Schools in the area, whilst working in a truly rewarding role. Apply today.
