SEN Primary Teaching Role in South East London Full time, Contract role with a view to becoming permanent Starting in September From £150+/day depending on experience A large specialist ASD school in South East London is looking to appoint an experienced primary teacher with special educational needs experience. The role involves teaching a class of 6 children aged in a mixed Y2/3 class. All the children are on the autistic spectrum and their attainment levels vary between P levels and Level 2c. Their needs are manifested in areas related to speech, language and communication difficulties and difficulties in understanding abstract principles or language. The school are seeking someone with a strong understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curricula and some experience differentiating for children with Autism. The school offers outstanding in house training and as such are happy supporting a good teacher with limited experience of ASD.
