This position will involve planning, preparing and delivering lessons across Key Stages 3 - 5. This school is highly academic and most students are eager to learn and determined to succeed, however you will still need good behaviour and classroom management to ensure that lessons stay on topic and that academic development is driven forward. The Maths Department has been graded as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, however the Head of Department is still looking to get the most out of Maths and open pupils up to the subject. This is a highly academic Secondary school where pupils are challenged and asked to think critically about what they are learning. The school aims to create within each and every student a sense of self respect, tolerance and intellectual curiosity.
